Wooden chest of Yunnan Black Tea (Red Color Chest)

Originally employed for transporting loose tea exports from China, that chest, of increasingly rare manufacture, perpetuate both tradition and hand craftsmanship. Faithful reproduction in mini-format of those produced in the 1930s, that chest contains 500 g of Yunnan black tea. This tea from the mysterious Yunnan province, located in the South-West of China at the juncture with Laos, Vietnam and Burma, offers a well-developed fragrance without astringency. Woody and earthy notes make up an enduring flavour.
