Wooden chest of Jasmin Chung Hao (Yellow Chest)

Originally employed for transporting loose tea exports from China, that chest, of increasingly rare manufacture, perpetuate both tradition and hand craftsmanship. Faithful reproduction in mini-format of those produced in the 1930s, this chest contains 500 g of Jasmin Chung Hao tea. Produced from a green tea of remarkable quality, the Jasmin Chung Hao is mixed with fresh jasmine flowers until the tea is imbued with their delicate perfume. Of a fine fragrance, this infusion makes an excellent accompaniment to Chinese cuisine.
